The Omaha Mavericks Indoor Track & Field season has officially begun as the Mavericks competed in their first meet of the season yesterday at the SDSU Holiday Invite and Multi in Brookings, South Dakota.

In the inaugural Platte River Rumble, the first home meet for the the Mavericks in over four years, they came out and competed for six full kilometers and walk away with an outstanding 4th place finish.
